Seeding.
My cousin did the getting stuck . NOTE: THIS WAS MY COUSIN'S TRACTOR NOT MINE I JUST CAME TO HIS AID.
Soft squishy conditions. No apparent slough. She (600/50 Big Bud) went down to the frame.
First they tried the 850 versatile. No luck at all. He called me and i brought the my 875 tractor 15 miles to help. I brought my red Flaman tow strap and a tow rope and a cable. Didn't use the cable. The Versatiles would pull side by side but would dig down and start wheel hopping terribly. We'd move over do it again and dig more holes. We pulled more and more sideways on the Bud and with practice were able to control the wheel hop and pull at the same time. This succeeded.
1. Even good heavy clevises can be damaged by tow straps.
2. Work at pulling evenly if using more than one towing unit.
3. Taking a run at the ropes and straps doesn't help in this situation a steady pull is superior to an elastic jerk.
