I think I would look for a smaller boss
Ah...but he's got a big heart.
Why not combine, as we do at Swift Current, in Aug. and avoid these man made problems???
Bob, now from Kelowna
This will help you remember, "I said half hoppers".
I sorry I sorry...
What did you expect with a John Deere?
cheap help these days
hmmm, did he pay you for the downtime??
Well I did help pull it out...and the it was swathed was so confusing!!
That should read...the way it was swathed was very confusing!!
Ya...brought out of retirement.
Bankers...what do they know about floatation?
Way to go,Wayne and Wayne!
Thankyou. A professional knows when to stop digging.
Nice to see you gainfully employed.
Some people will do anything for a coffee break.
Come to think of it...it was supper time.
Thats not stuck, stuck is mud over the wheels!
Rule no:1 stop spinning...call for help.
Ya next time he should probably actually get stuck before the photo goes up on this "stuck in the muck" site.
Move to NWT
Great advice from someone who lives in a desert!
That's why I am not wet behind the ears. Eh????
Cain't no way sink as low as Blaine Lake mud,Any Mennon citizen knows that.
I agree with Gary. Stuck in the mud means over your wheels.
Well Helene and Gary...you must appreciate something, those operators that just kept spinning, digging himself in deeper, don't rise to the level of "Professional".
Probably scared of there bosses and were desperate to get out!!
Me...not so much!
Just setting an example of how all Union negotiations and labour stife should be settled.
Oh oh..."Da Boss is monitoring this...better be careful what I type.
It was the swather mans fault...cutting so close to the trout ponds!
That's why the boss has to choke you, for blaming others for your poor judgement! By the way, Merry Christmas.
Dad, since when did we become unionized? I deserve a few paid coffee breaks and some benefit back pay then hey? Oohh, dorment post labor injuries... that'll cost ya... I'll have my lawyer call yours...
It seems there was not much digging of any kind going on. Nice truck though!!
Gives new meaning to the term "Gripe Payment".
With that wind up lucky for me...he pulled that punch!
Looks like you'll be there til Christmas!!
Both wayne and wayne need to dig a little deeper to qualify
Now Fred & Leona...you must understand. This is not a contest about who got the stuckist.
Its the amateurs who get the stuckist and the pros who know when to stop and get help.
Take note the leader thus far isn't the stuckest. Its a polularity contest...and I am by far the nicest guy.
I find it also funny that a compitition like this people are voting on the people that kept spinning... Like the "guilty party" said, its the true professionals that know when to stop. That rig isn't going anywhere regardless if the muds over the wheels or not... So the pic qualifies.. it is "Stuck in the Muck!"
You wouldn't have been in this predicament if your combine had an 'OFF ROAD' sign on it!
I see the vote total is at 404. Who would have thought there were that many Co-Op members in the Blaine Lake district.
Well it certainly required "cooperation" to pull all these machines out that's for sure.
I remember seeing "Da Boss" waving his arms like an orchestra directer as we attempted to jerk them to the surface!
Way to go Wayne. Hope you get that big truck unstuck before the cows come home.
PS. Merry Christmas.
No point in drilling for oil in Saskatchewan there Jed.
We been hording it...we got more than you know!
We learn from failure but not always from success.
Wise words from a wise lady. Thanks mom.
Reminds me of this quote:
“Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven't planted”
Da Boss planted so I tried to thrash!!
It looks like Facebook is starting to come through for the picture!!! Into 2nd place. I will keep posting the link daily so you can stay there. Stuff like this is fun...
what goods a 50' tow rope, when ur at the point of saturation, won’t reach Alberta for a tow job. Shoulda hired our Alta plumber, he coulda fixed the leak that caused all this mess
You need your uncle John there to push!! Tosrio
With the energy that man has no doubt he would have popped me right out!
Still stuck? Hope someone brings you guys a wintercoat. Stay warm, Wayne
To be remembered like that? Wayne from stuck in the mud Saskatchewan?
Maybe you ought to run for high office, the way your smoozing the votes out of us!!
I'll be glad when this contest is over, maybe we will get some work done around here!
I second that comment, although, it has been kind of fun. We even talked about your contest at your uncle's 85th birthday party at Swiss Chalet, Wayne. You've got my vote for today.
Sherry some how I find it hard to believe that your work would not get done...but Gary's....?
Wouldn't SHE be impressed.
I squeezed my friends for a number of votes too... Working on getting us number 1 before its over.
Your a good man...Da son.
Da boss' sista
With all da boss's relatives and the helps relatives I don't know why I don't have 5000 votes!!
We're Mennonites not rabbits...
I'm thinkin' sum folks'll do eny thang to git attenton.Hope this don't cancell my invite to go fishin.
not if you keep voting!!!
Do you know how to fish?
Is this stuck? I can't tell!
It doesn't look like it but we was stuck! I was warned by "da boss"..."don't even try" to get out by yourself it will only sink deeper so at the first awareness of a sinking feeling....being the obedient help that I am....
On some fields it was a bit like skating on thin ice. The crust would give on one pass but with momentum you could keep rolling. I made the mistake of stopping and started to back to take the next swath away from the water because the swather "operator" had dared to get to close...(just a bit of deflection here)as I was nervous, and down she went.
My mistake, I should have just lifted the table while rolling and dropped into the next swath...but I was trying to be neat.
Oh well just an old guy pulled out of retirement!!
Gotta vote for you since we're almost neighbors, Does the STS mean "Stuck 'Till Spring"?
Stuck till spring...thats a good one.
If I win...and with your help I might...let me know when you need a pull. I will be happy to help.
My vote for today, Wayne.
Hi Wayne: I'm a friend of John and Louise Janzen's. As you see I live in Toronto, ON.
Just voted again for you (every day so far) and hope you win - you really need that new rope.
I did notice that Mary. Thanks for the support.
I think I heard that Toronto is a pretty big town eh! Say if you run into my cousins Shirley and Susan say hello for me:-)
All I need is for everyone to rally for the next 24 hours.
Call your friends!! Vote from home...vote from work....see a computor some where...VOTE!!
One thing I don't understand yet - help me out. the prize is a tow rope. You're planning on doing this again? More often? Repeatedly?
Brother the younger...of all people you should understand. Insurance...your field of expertise!!??
We live in fear, the tow rope is the "insurance" to pull us through the tough mucking ahead!!
Yes, Bruce, I too wondered what's with a tow rope as a prize. But listen, if that is what excites your Bro then who am I to worry about that. Merry Christmas to you Bro. Bruce. Wayne, you have my vote for today. We might run into you guys in Sunny Alberta?
After loosing the Grey Cup...this is the next best thing...
I live a sheltered life!!
Seeing you in person would be cool.
You should at least win a prize for the most comments!
I was so relieved when "da Boss" pulled that punch I felt like a winner!
Do I know how to fish???
Did Wayne get stuck in the muck?
Don't triffle with me.
Merry Christmas.
